Kiwi Sport

On Tuesday we had our first Kiwi Sport lesson. The first thing we did was meet Pete our Kiwi Sport coach. We learnt to throw and catch a tennis ball. Pete walked around and he showed us what to do. Then we got into a line and Pete showed us how to hit the tennis ball with a cricket bat. We all took a turn each. At the end Pete told us that Bryson hit the ball the furthest. We had so much fun and we are looking forward to next time. 

Beach Education

Today we learnt a lot at beach education. We learnt how to be sun smart, some fun beach games and how to stay safe in the water. Thank you to all the parent helpers, it was a great day.

Time Capsule

We have had an amazing start to the year. Today we made a time capsule to open in the future, at the end of the school year. We recorded how tall we are so that we can see how much we have grown throughout the year. We also drew our future selves some pictures of things that we like at the moment. Some of us even wrote a message. It will be interesting to see how much we have changed. We tried to dig a hole to bury our time capsule but the earth was too firm. We are going to need to think about a plan b.
